Annual Crisis Worker Awards

The CWSO recognizes that its success is largely built by its members’ commitment to excellence and dedication in the field of crisis intervention. The annual awards program is designed to distinguish and honor those crisis workers who demonstrate these qualities through their work.

Throughout Ontario, crisis intervention workers play a significant role in delivering crucial, often life-saving, intervention services to people who are experiencing a crisis in their lives. Many communities have discovered the importance of such services through the presence of crisis intervention workers in many community mobile crisis teams, hospital emergency departments, schools, children’s mental health centers, and other community settings.
